To Love Somebody by Bee Gees (Cover)

In my head, this song would sound much better on piano. The problem is, I can’t play piano like I hear it in my head. 🙂

This is a cover of the classic Bee Gee’s song, “To Love Somebody”. It much slower than the original track, and probably has a few less harmony parts than it could have had.

I took a different approach to recording this one. My first attempt on piano was recorded to a click track like almost all my videos over the last few years. I also normally record each track separately, then mix and record the video afterward.

For this video, I decided to record audio and video simultaneously. Plus, I decided to use my iPhone to record the video instead of my usual Nikon DSLR. I think the iPhone did a much better job.

Cover Song: One – U2

You may or may not have noticed, the tag-line for my blog is “I like running and singing, but not at the same time…”. It’s been a while since I posted any music videos, but I’ve started to make an effort recently to get back to playing and recording more frequently.

Here is a cover of a U2 song, called “One”.
