Favorite Albums Ever – Josh Grossmann

This is the 5th post in a series of favorite albums by our STORYCHURCH band members.

Josh Grossmann plays bass for the STORYCHURCH band.  There was that time that Josh auditioned for a vocal part but unfortunately we needed people on our sound desk more urgently.  So more recently Josh has been running our front-of-house audio from time to time.

Check out the video of Josh’s vocal audition here.

You also know Josh as our in-house graphic design extraordinaire.  He has brought his talent to many of our STORYCHURCH sermon series’ making them something very special and memorable.

I knew Josh would not disappoint when he compiled his list of most favorite albums.  Not only am I surprised you could actually buy all of these on Amazon, but most of them had at least 2 customer reviews.

  • Starflyer 59 – Gold
  • Manu Chao – Clandestino
  • Murder By Death – Who Will Survive and What Will be Left of Them?
  • Soda Stereo – Comfort y Música para Volar
  • Daniel Amos – Horrendous Disc
  • Glen Galaxy – Thankyou
  • Love – Forever Changes
  • Smashing Pumpkins – Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness
  • Iggy and the Stooges – Raw Power

  1. I have three of these albums. Starflyer, Smashing Pumpkins, and Luxury. I’m not surprised that I haven’t heard of the rest of them. Seems more than a little similar to Josh’s movie tastes. How shall we say…. unique.

  2. Of all the submitted lists, this one is the most foreign to me. This is a huge part of Josh’s sheer awesomeness. That and his ability to sing the daylights out of Everlasting God…..
