Favorite Albums Ever – Jillien Minera

This is the 2nd post in a series of favorite albums by our STORYCHURCH band members.

Jillien is a good friend and one of our vocalists at STORYCHURCH.  We’ve been blessed to have Jillien as part of our team for the last couple of years.  She never seems to tire of volunteering which is a super quality to have in the first few years of a church plant.  It’s been cool to see Jillien grow in confidence and I’m so happy to have people like her that I can lean on to lead, with or without me being on stage.

I fully believe in Jillien’s potential as a worship leader and I want to see that develop even further (think next Brooke Fraser).  I also believe Jillien has a good few songs inside of her, and I’d love to see her developing that skill.

People, back me up – you don’t have to know how to play an instrument to be able to write a song, right?

Jillien is married to Lee, who is a true gentleman.  I’m really thankful for his sacrifice also, looking after their kids while we all get together to rehearse.

So, without further ado, here are Jillien’s favorite albums.

Above:  Frou Frou–Details // Notre Dame du Paris–Soundtrack // Lady Gaga–The Fame // Zac Brown Band- Uncaged // Lady Antebellum–Need you Now // Michael Jackson–Thriller // TLC–Crazy Sexy Cool // Mariah Carey–Daydream // Hillsong –Faith + Hope + Love // Plumb–Need you now // David Crowder Band– church Music // Rhett Walker Band–Come to the River // Casting Crowns– Until the Whole World Hears

Knowing Jillien, I did not really see any surprises on this list.  I do sometimes forget though, how big of a country music fan she is.  Now that I say that – where is Scotty McCreery?  I can’t believe she missed him out.

Jillien has a Blog – be sure to check it out.
