Idols and Philosophy – Great Articles

Here is a couple of blog posts I’ve really enjoyed reading this week. Check them out and let me know what you think.

The Irony of a Christian Celebrity is a challenging post from Glenn Packiam.  It warns us to keep a check on what we are focusing on, and to be careful that we don’t start fooling ourselves about the ‘why’ in what we’re doing.  Idols are a big struggle for a lot of us and may not even be apparent.  Sobering.

Worship Music Philosophy is a fantastic post from Michael Lukaszewski.  It feels like a lot of thought and experience had been poured into this.  We all have in our minds what we want our worship environment to be like, but I thought it was a really good idea to have it committed to paper like this.  I really liked a lot of what Michael had in here and I circulated the link around our team for discussion purposes.
