The Main Objective Of Worship

Christian researcher George Barna found that 75 million people attend church in the United States, yet one-third of regular churchgoers say they have never experienced the presence of God in their life.  People come back to church over and over again, missing the main objective of worship – to have an interaction with the living God.

  1. I’ve always thought that the main objective of worship was to glorify God, not necessarily to experience his presence. I’m not saying those are mutually exclusive, and I honestly believe that Go’d presence is felt in the process of glorifying him, but the Bible states that God created everything for the purpose of glorifying himself.
