Story Church Set List – 06 Jun 2010

  • Happy Day – Tim Hughes
  • Glory To God Forever – Fee
  • Our God – Chris Tomlin
  • Your Love Never Fails – Chris McClarney
  • Revelation Song – Jennie Lee Riddle

I loved this set and the band did great this morning!  We kept it pretty tight and I was very pleased with the transitions between songs.  We started off with Happy Day and immediately kicked into Glory To God Forever.  After the message we played Our God which reinforced a lot of what Jeremy spoke about.  Using the same chord progression we went straight into Your Love Never Fails.  The last time I used this song was way back before we launched in January and I thought it worked really well.  We ended the set with Revelation Song.

The school where Story Church meet had their stage decorated this morning for some school event.  The guys thought it was funny (ha ha) that there was a volcano on the wall when I’m about to attempt travel to the UK this week.  To be honest, the timing could have been better.

This morning we started the One Prayer series at Story Church.

One Prayer began in 2008 to explore the question: We pray to Jesus asking Him to answer our prayers – what if we became the answer to His? In John 17:20-24, He prayed that we would be one, and One Prayer is an opportunity to see what can be accomplished when the Church works together.

God has worked in amazing ways over the past two years as millions of believers around the world have united to pray, learn, and love others. We’re joining forces once again for One Prayer 2010 as we come together for four weeks to learn more about our Creator and go out into the world to share, serve and give.
