Kristen Gilles releases her new EP today – The Whole Big Story. You can listen to it below and download for free from Noisetrade. These modern hymns remind me a lot of the Keith & Kristen Getty’s music.
There has been so much thought and consideration put into the writing and melody of these songs. The songs themes themselves are quite meaty giving it that hymn-like quality while the melodies have been designed to be memorable and congregation-friendly. Bobby & Kristen both attend Sojourn Church and have been heavily involved in Sojourn’s music projects also, so the chances are you have heard and appreciated some of their skills already (for an example, see my review of Warrior).
